Adrian Ramsay is the Green MP for Waveney Valley as the party’s co-leader. He has consistently put the Green New Deal on the political agenda, from being the party’s deputy leader when Caroline Lucas was first elected, to serving as a Green Councillor for almost 10 years. Now an MP, he continues to use his platform to build a fairer future.

Apsana Begum is the Labour MP for Polar and Limehouse (temporarily sitting as an Independent). Apsana has defined her time as an MP by demonstrating solidarity with countless social movements, be it pro-Palestine activists, refugees or trade unionists, and is a strong advocate for an intersectional Green New Deal.

Bell Ribeiro-Addy is the Labour MP for Clapham and Brixton Hill. Her political career has been rooted in a deep commitment to community and justice, where she has endlessly fought against Tory failures that have led to scrambling public services and social inequality. She repeatedly champions the Green New Deal as the much needed solution to tackle these crises.

Carla Denyer is the Green MP for Bristol Central and co-leader of the Green Party. Carla represents a new generation of leaders who are unafraid to challenge the status quo and fight for a better, fairer world. She understands that the climate crisis is not just an environmental issue—it’s a matter of social and economic justice. That’s why she has been a passionate backer of the Green New Deal since the beginning.

Ellie Chowns is the Green MP for North Herefordshire, having overturned a decades of Tory leadership in the area. Ellie centres the Green New Deal in her politics, pushing for cheap renewable energy, restored public services and nature protection.

Jeremy Corbyn is the Independent MP for Islington North. Jeremy has an extensive legacy in Parliament for standing up to social and global injustice, fighting for public ownership and against cuts to vital public services, and truly championing the Green New Deal at every opportunity. 

John McDonnell is the Labour MP for Hayes and Harlington (temporarily sitting as an Independent). With a long history advocating for increased public ownership, and having served as Shadow Chancellor from 2015 – 2020, John is striving to reform the failing economic system through a Green New Deal.

Nadia Whittome is the Labour MP for Nottingham East. Nadia is part of our generation and her anti-establishment spirit resonates with young people up and down the country. Nadia embodies the powerful convergence of activism and politics, tirelessly working for her community’s welfare and fighting for a Green New Deal inside and outside of parliament.

Olivia is the Labour MP for Sheffield Hallam. Olivia’s commitment to stopping climate collapse and protecting nature has previously gained her the position of Shadow Minister for Climate Change and Net Zero, where she acted as our generation’s voice in Parliament, co-sponsoring the Green New Deal Bill and at the forefront of calling for a National Nature Service. 

Siân Berry is the Green MP for Brighton Pavilion. Siân’s been with our movement since the beginning, and has decades of experience in grassroots activism. And just like us, Siân’s an intersectional activist. Whether it’s supporting migrant or trans rights, or standing in solidarity with trade unions, Siân fights for all of us and not the wealthy elite.  

Zarah Sultana is the Labour MP for Coventry South (temporarily sitting as an Independent). Like us, Zarah grew up in a time of crisis and knows the scale of change that we need to win. Her journey to becoming an MP is a testament to community service and advocacy, and she consistently uses her political platform to hold the government to account on key issues, for instance as a resounding voice in calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
