We are hosting our annual Summer Movement Gathering on the weekend of the 17th-19th July in Stafford! This is our biggest in-person moment for movement-building, political strategy and training. It's a space to connect with other young people commited to building a better world and strategise together about how we are going to grow our movement power to fight the far right and win climate justice and a Green New Deal in the months and years ahead. We'll be discussing where our movement goes following the May election results - where we helped elect incredible progressive champions, but also witnessed a surge in support for the far right - and how we respond to the possibility of a new Prime Minister, as well as just getting to know each other, eating delicious food and having fun offline.
Arrive: afternoon/evening of Friday 17th
Depart: afternoon Sunday 19th July
Location: Stafford (exact location shared following sign-up)
Accomodation: indoor dormitories (no camping this year)
Assistance for travel costs: available to anyone who needs it up to £60
Who can attend: anyone aged between 16 and 35, whether you're a total newcomer to GND Rising or have been with us since the start.
