Trainings Organiser
Application Timeline - Deadline: 09:00 Monday 22nd May.

Green New Deal Rising is looking for a skilled trainer and organiser who can lead our training work, and support the growth and development of our movement.
Green New Deal Rising is building a movement of young people from every part of the UK to fight for a response to the climate crisis that totally transforms our economy to deliver a safe climate and fairer society. We believe in people power, and through a combination of disrupting the political system and reaching into our communities, we plan to make the Green New Deal an era-defining issue.
We have ambitious plans for the coming 18 months as we head towards the next General Election. This year we are focused on building our nationwide door-knocking programme, delivering breakthrough actions, running powerful campaigns targeting opposition parties and building power in key election battlegrounds.
We are also aiming to double the size of our movement, as well as invest deeply in volunteer leadership - particularly of marginalised young people. As our new Trainings Organiser, you will develop training strategies, projects and programmes to meet these goals - drawing on the ideas and skills of your colleagues in the Organising Team.
This will be a hands-on role, with an expectation that you will regularly be delivering and facilitating training both online and in person (including travelling around the country to do this). To succeed in the role, you will balance this with an ability to plan ahead and think proactively about how to best use training in our organising work.
You will also have a deep understanding of healthy movement culture, holding responsibility for work to deepen our culture in line with our principles and supporting the integration of this work across the organisation.
Green New Deal Rising has a small (but growing!) staff team. This role will be based in the Organising Team reporting to the Head of Organising.
